no option exists.. why do you want a copy on the card? 0 -
______
In addition to security (double backup), it is in my opinion necessary for the photobooth and work with two, if the photo is not recorded on the card the photographer is obliged to see each time with his colleague (on the computer and who manages the editing / script / printing) if the photo is correct (eyes closed, end out of frame etc)
In a noisy environment it's not obvious and counterproductive, why Capture One do not have this option while ALL others so?0 -
Full tethered operation means that Capture One is controlling the camera directly and almost all of the camera's internal functions - like writing to memory cards - are disabled. The connected computer is the camera's data storage source.
You could consider the alternative "Hot Folder" option where Capture One on the computer is monitoring files coming from the camera and being directly downloaded to the computer's storage.
And then there is Capture Pilot which might do the job for you by providing a higher quality (larger) view of an image than you can get from a camera screen.
However if you are running a dedicated Photo Booth service it would seem logical to use dedicated Photo Booth software for the task. Is there a reason you prefer not to do that?

thank you, actually it helps the '' Hor folder '', it can display the images taken with other software including I tested with EOS utility ... It works, but we lose some options as the settings defined with the last photo for example ... In cons party this system can do without the cable and be in connected mode using the WiFi of my 5dmk 4 (well it should be better to use the jpeg + raw with transfer jpeg only ). This is equivalent to Lightroom's automatic import when you want to use WiFi, although with Lightroom it's longer because it moves the photos
I do not use specific software for photobooth, I do not often and I wanted to use the software that I already have to make the photos on a green background > script on photoshop, lightroom and Capture One ... but if you have Suggestions I am a taker, usually I need to embed a banner and change the green background by 1-2 images at the customer's choice on the moment0 -

Some years ago I was using a telescopic mast quite often and had some dedicated "tethered" software from Breezesys.
It worked with a number of Canon Bridge cameras that in those days were enabled for cable (USB1) control and download. Most of the cameras were jpg only and of course the connection speed would have been challenging with any other file size.
Breeze Systems introduced an extension of their application that offered photobooth dedicated features and I looked into that but realised that I was unlikely to do enough of that type of work to make it economic to buy the rest of the equipment involved to get the benefit from the software. However the Breeze software I was using worked well enough and is now available in greatly extended form for use with dSLRs.
Yesterday I checked what the market offers now using Google. It seems there are many dedicated complete photobooth packages that include cataloguing, processing, printing and billing within the software and some complete systems that include options to buy printers and material supplies in the package. Such full function "buy a business" options have been around for many years but not so many of them.
I do not feel at all qualified to make a suggestion about which system(s) are the best but there are a lot out there and I would expect most of them to be able to deliver a result.
As for quality - I am not sure. Does that matter a lot in the context? I would guess that quality will be "good enough" for the market. There may be a market for very high quality photo booth shoots but I would imagine it is quite a small market. I will be delighted if I am wrong.
I hope these thoughts are of interest.
