Daisy Chained card reader problem
End of the day, shot two cards, insert two card readers into USB ports, insert cards into said readers thinking while that lot uploads I'll go and have a beer.
No chance.
For some reason C1 only detects one set of images. I can select both readers, and begin a download of the first card I select, but when I then select the other card reader (it does show up in the IMPORT FROM - LOCATION menu, but...) the image holding pane is empty and I get the little spinner in the lower part of the pop up. It seems to know there are images there, but fails to read them when another upload is going on.
Earlier iterations of C1 used to allow daisy chaining, and it's not a USB driver issue (have d'ld the Lexar USB 3 driver) as Finder see both cards in both drivers at the same time.

Hi John - If you haven't already, please submit a support request in through the phaseone website.
The support team does check in here on the forums, but it's mostly a user-to-user tool so the fastest way to get something fixed (and benefit all of us) is by sending in a proper support request in order to get any bugs & glitches in to the repair queue.
Thanks!0
