lens correction tool missing, degraded to non-pro version?
I opened my capture one software today to process some images that had some lens distortion.
I was unable to find the lens correction tool.
Nor could I find the styles menu.
I read through some posts trying to find out why I didn't have a lens tool anymore.
I came across a message that mentioned this and also mentioned that through the HELP menu item, one could determine if they had the pro version or not.
It seems my Pro version has changed to a non-pro version. I can see no mention of Pro anywhere in the "license information" or the "About" menu items.
It also shows I have zero updates left and zero activations left.
I purchased Capture one pro (version 3.7.9) a few weeks ago. I was told it had 2 free updates. I updated the software shortly after installing it.
"About" in Help indicates I am running version 4.8.
I did recover from a hard drive failure, but the current drive is an exact clone of the one that failed.
Can someone please tell me what is happening?
Thanks
Andrew

If your Capture One 3.x Pro key does not unlock Capture One 4 into Pro, please contact support directly from Phase One web site. 0 -
As I said in my original post, I had a hard drive problem. The operating system was put into a state by an attempted virus removal that went bad. I cloned the hard drive and worked on the clone, attempting to fix the problem. I fixed it and all my data remained. I continued using this drive and decided to fix the original later and us it as a back-up.
However.... Capture One does not work as the pro version on the cloned drive. I find this strange but I guess it is some form of copy protection or such.
Interesting.
I fixed the original drive yesterday. Capture One now works as the Pro version and shows one free update. I have a few hundred photos to transfer over from the cloned drive now, but I am happy Capture One is working as it should.
