Advice on upgrading to Capture One 6
I have Capture One 5, but have not used it much, preferring to work in Lightroom 3 so far.
I am growing tired of Lightroom 3, specifically its lack of support for AVCHD (.mts) video and some other workflow limitations (lack versatility on file ingesting, poor local controls and masking, not the best sharpening). I prefer if possible to work with a single program from start to finish. I also have Expression Media 2, but have not used it much. I shooth with a Nikon D700, and studi (tethered) shooting is not important.
I was looking for advice on whether Capture One 6 is worth exploring, or if I might as well stick with Lightroom 3 (what might be better in Capture One).
Capture One 5 won't be acceptable because of its lack of video support.
Thank you for your help.

Do you need to edit the video or just play back? If you are wanting to edit, Capture One does not have this ability. For viewing, give the trial a try.
I have tried, using LR3 with my D700 NEF's for awhile. Capture One simply beats LR3 in about every way that Capture One does.
