C1 3.7.7 bug

I have C1 3.7.7 with a P45+, MacBook Pro 17" 2.33, OSX 10.4.10

C1 goes away every time I need pattern noise suppression and banding suppression with my files, untethered, when an additional focus window is open. Is there a work around ?

  When I received my P45 plus early September, I was given a beta of 3.7.8, decided to ignore the beta and found C1 to be clunky, installed the beta and no problems whatsoever.
  
  I believe it should be released any time now...

  Hi Edmund-
  The issue you are experiencing is from applying Pattern Noise Suppression (PNS) to a Plus image in 3.7.7 Mac.
  
  We are aware of the issue and in the process of making a fix for it.
  The hope is that the fix will be in the next update.
  The current workaround:
  If possible for you, is to add the PNS, with the PC version of 3.7.7.
