Images soft in Photoshop CC ?

Hello,
I've just noticed that (after editing) when exporting an image (as JPEG) into Photoshop CC the image looks slightly softer than in Capture One.

While in Photoshop I edit the picture (using Nik Output Sharpener Pro) and the image looks so much better.

But when saving the image and then viewing it in Capture One the original image and the newly sharpened one from Photoshop both look the same; the newly imported (and sharper) image is no sharper then the original image.

I hope that all made sense?

It's as if either when exporting into Photoshop the image is being made softer and when importing back into capture One the same is happening.

I export to Photoshop CC as full size and at a resolution of 300 px/in and Quality at 100%

Do you experience the same thing?

  Sounds like you are exporting from C1 without sharpening. That is an option in case you wish to sharpen in a different application.

  Thank you for that information; I'd never looked at that 'part' of exporting an image for editing in Photoshop CC.
  
  I couldn't see any difference in the 'standard' settings for 'No Output Sharpening' and 'Output sharpening for Screen'.
  
  I'll have to look into what settings work best.
