How to rename new output parameters ?

I would like to create personnal output parameters (size, colorspace, etc). I found the way to create one but I didn't find a way to gave it an expplicite name like website output or whatever. It is 7.1.2 DB version

  Double-click the name and rename.

  Already tried it. Doesn't work. remains "unknown parameter".

  Well... perhaps there's something more at play as the Double Click is the working method for renaming the recipe.

  One click to achieve focus on the tool and then double click to edit perhaps?

  The touchpad on one of my machines is doing some very odd things since I checked out a few of the alternative settings the other day. Doh!
