I have been using my 1ds Mark II (firewire) & my 5D (USB2) on my MBP running \"10.4.5\" NOT 10.4.6. 10.4.6 has problems teathering USB2 with C1 Pro 3.7.4 on a Intel Mac.
Unfortunately the current new MBP 17 in laptops ship with 10.4.6, \"Apple strongly recommend the lowest Mac OS you run on your computer is the Mac OS that was \"shipped\" w/ you computer.
(that quote is direct from Apple)
    😕

    As posted on another thread
    MBP + 10.4.6 + Mk2 = No problem

    MBP + 10.4.6 + 5D = no go at all.

NOT SO! I have 10.4.7 and 3.7.4 on an Intel Imac Core Duo with 2GB memory. I can connect with my Canon 1Ds (Mark 1), and get the camera to initiate a capture, but I get an error along the lines of "failed capture error fffddd". Actually you can see the progress bar after the camera shutter is released, and all appears to be going well until the very end when the error message appears. And this is with Firewire.

I tried this because I was thinking of buying a Macbook 13", but now I'm afraid since it won't work on my Intel Imac. But everything is well with 3.7.3 on a Powerbook G4 12". What to do?
