Folder that automatically recognizes files in it

Hi
I've searched but could find anything related to this topic so feel free to point me to it.

When using a session, if a copy an image to the Output folder (for example from my desktop), C1 automatically displays the image without importing it. Is there a way of doing the same in a catalog?

My objective is, working in a catalog, to export an image from C1, do some post in photoshop and have C1 to load the image in the catalog automatically.

  This has been asked over and over on the Forums, just a simple check box that when you export a file, (Say for editing in PS), to be imported back to the catalog. Only really doable for referenced files, otherwise it would copy the newly created file back into the CO catalog, then you modify the original one and still in the same boat. I have put in a support request for it and would suggest you do the same thing.
