Same here with C1 10.0.1 as well as 10.0.2. It used to work before not only just for sessions but also catalogs to have multiple windows open, but as you state not anymore.

Forgot to mention: taking place under macOS 10.12.2

Just did a quick check here on my old MBP (no OpenCL). It works with two sessions open at the same time. CO 10.0.2, sessions upgraded from v9. I opened both by double-click in Finder. I can freely switch between the sessions, browse images and make adjustments.
I'll try on a newer MBP (with OpenCL) when I'm back home tomorrow.

    Regards,
    Hans

Edit: I can do two catalogs, too. I'm on El Cap.

There's a preference to allow multiple open catalogs/sessions or not. I believe someone else found that the upgrade had reset this preference to single window. You might want to check your preferences.

    Cheers,
    Peter.

Thank you Peter, that's it. Phase One actually just came back to me (very quickly) to say the same thing. I didn't even realise it was a preference...

I did look in the CO10 Mac thread to see if anyone had raised it before I posted but didn't see anything. Thanks again.
