    I'm not that thick 😊

I can't just swap the windows over as per my original message the window with the full size image doesn't have the controls.

This is what I'm trying to replicate in C1. Big image I can work on, with edit controls on the same screen. Then the grid view on the second screen letting me jump between files easily.

    Hi,

See (and join ?) this thread :

and this one (starting with the 5th message)

The second thread contains links to sample dual monitor workspaces.

This is a long lasting issue on Windows and obviously, P1 don't seem to be ready to do anything about it.

Well, the forum software is obviously going nuts but you can see the links anyway.

Thanks for the links. Sigh, too bad ☹️
Looks like an issue for a long time, which is really too bad. So much for the "fully customizable interface".

You can sort of do this.

If you put independent Viewer on the the left screen but not fully expended and the regular C1 default display on the right screen but slightly off full screen so that it does not lock to the edges, you can then stretch it left so the tools (assuming tools on the left) appear on the left most screen.

If your Screen driver allows the usual clever options to avoid any monitor bezels that get in the way you can probably get a fairly seamless result.

I have, very quickly, set this up using my notebook screen for the right hand screen and a 22" monitor for the left. I then saved the Workspace, used "Close Window" to shut down C1 V11. Waitind a few seconds to ensure it was gone from internal post closure activities and the re-opened and all was as I had left it.

I make no claims for it looking beautiful.

Whether your right screen grid is the viewer in multi-image view or just the browser zoomed to whatever level you prefer is something to consider. The Viewer making use of the "sets" functionality might work well for you. Toggle the browser on and off only if you need to.

I can think of a few other things that might also work but this seems like a quick starting point for now.

Of course, you may find you hate it.
