Have you understood the article, or the articles at WWDC?

Media Pro is not a Mac App Store product, thus there is nothing to worry about. Neither for High Sierra (wich will be released in autumn '17, nor for it's successor, probably released in autumn '18.

Only the version, which will probably released in autumn '19 will no longer support 32 bit applications. But there is, as always, no need to switch to that version.
Thus, as long as you use any predecessor of Sierra, Sierra, High Sierra, the direct successor of High Sierra, there is nothing to worry about.

And I assume, that apple will release every year a new OS version in the future too.

I was wrong about the timing... According to MacWorld, "Eventually, 32-bit support will no longer exist in macOS, probably in a version after High Sierra."

Of course I'm aware that Media Pro is not an App Store product. Sure, you can continue to use High Sierra for as long as your computer works, but eventually the hardware will die or you'll need new (other) software that requires upgrading to the next OS, or you'll want to have the latest security features on your Mac. Then there will be something to worry about if you have any critical 32-bit software that hasn't been updated to 64 bit.

Seems reasonable to remind Phase One to put this issue on their "to do" list. 2019 isn't that far away.
