Process recipes colors

Hi,
I have various recipes to process my raw files.
Some are AdobeRGB, some Prophoto and some sRGB and each processed into different directories.

Each time I select the different recipe the colors appear to change. I know each profile has a different gamut but surely the display should be the same.
Does this mean that my workflow should include processing differently under each profile?

  Changing the color space changes the Proof Profile.
  If you would like this to be otherwise please change the View>Proof Profile option.

  For max gamut can I set it fro Prophoto?
