I want to rename a batch of files

How do i do this. 🤭 I found instructions but can not find the batch rename button they are talking about.
please help.

  You can change the name of a file by clicking on the filename underneath the Thumbnail and writing new name. This handles 1 image at at time. To Batch Rename:
  Look to the upper left side of Capture One and you will see a white entry space where the Next Capture Name can be entered. With all the Thumbnails that you want to change the names of selected, enter the New name here, and then hit the icon to the right that is Apply Name to Selected Captures.
  It is the 3rd icon to the right of the Entry area.

  now batch renaming is small beans compared to my newest problem....
  i should give this next dilemna it's own thread..right?
