    Hi,
sorry but I didn't get it what is it in your first question. If the sorting is by file names, isn't this cronological?

Your second question: if you don't like the look of negative contrast settings chosen by the Auto exposure function you can select one image, choose the contrast value of your liking, then you hit the "Copy Adjustments to Clipboard" button right over the "Exposure", then uncheck all but the "Contrast" in the dialog box, then "Select All" and then the "Apply Adjustments". This will set all images to the selected value.

I'd suggest though to experiment for adjusting the punch with the "Clarity" section and there with the method and the values.

    HI.

    For Q1:

You can change the sort order in the Browser and use date and time.

Or, if for some reason you are renaming on input and have non-contiguous files by name, use the token system for naming and include the date and time in the name - then remove it later if you feel you have to.

Without being sure why you need to see the imports in date and time order it's not so easy to be sure of offering a useful reply.

    For Q2:

I would suggest that you don't use auto adjust.

For what you describe I think you would be better served by using a Style (or several Styles/Presets) - perhaps one of your own definition that more precisely suits and controls your needs. What you want to do with the control is not really something that Auto Adjust is intended to deliver, as far as I can tell. But the Styles and Presets are there for precisely that purpose.

    HTH.
