Deactivate or not?
I recently installed C1 10 Pro and now I need to revert my computer (via imaging software) to an earlier time before v10 was installed. Should I deactivate the software or not?
Thanks.
Thanks.

40 views and no one has a thought? Yes, no, doesn't matter? I didn't think it was a hard question. 0 -

I think it is a good question. Ideally it should not be necessary, but if you like to be full proof, deactivate, restore, activate.
Note that you can't do anything wrong in the end. Ultimately you can manage your activations, including a reset(!) from the Phase One website. Login at My Pages.0 -
As I understand it a V10 activation will allow you to use V9. (But not for any V10 updated catalogues or sessions of course.)
However if you are totally restoring your system to an earlier point the restore might well remove any relevant files used by C1 to identify the local state of its installation and that might turn out to be not a good thing.
As Paul has said - you can always manage that situation after the event via the Phase web site.

Thank you, Paul and Grant. Much appreciated. 😊 0
