Set the Process Folder based on Input Folder?
Hello,
I use DownloaderPro to place original images in a folder based on image date.
IE: c:\\Pictures\\Originals\\2005-05\\xxxxxx.crw
Is it possible to set CaptureOne to output the processed images to a similar folder name?
IE: c:\\Pictures\\Finals\\2005-05\\xxxxxx.jpg
Thanks,
W

W,
If I understand you correctly, it would be best to set Process folder location to be your RAW folder location. At the Process tab > Change current folder for processed images icon > in the Set Process folder... window be sure to check the Always process images to associated image folder
Now the processed image files will arrive in a subfolder of the Session named Develops
IE: c:\\Pictures\\Originals\\2005-05\\xxxxxx.crw\\Develops
So all processed JPEGs reside one folder deeper than your original RAWs.
Now to answer the original question, Yes you can reset the Process to folder for different sessions, however it can create a FileManagementHeadache sometimes. The Windows platform is not a good one for processing to variable locations, the Mac is. Windows like a set location to remain constant. This is why I think it best to keep it simple and check the Always process images to associated image folder
