Go to Phase One software archive download page:
    http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloa ... veMac.aspx

Please note that 4.5 also requires 10.5.5, while 4.1.1 runs on 10.4.11 as well.

Thanks. Is here a huge difference between 4.1.1 and 4.6? Also 4.1.1 is that a PRO version?

4.x Pro is available from 4.5 onwards which is the main difference with 4.1. You can activate 4.1 with your Pro key and have it running on OS X 10.4.11.

So 4.1.1 is not PRO? I ran 4.5 on OSX 10.4.11 when it was just released and I got rid of it last night when I decided to upgrade to 4.6

    Is it still possible to download C1 v. 4.5? I am running OSX 10.4.11 so I can't use 4.61
    Anyone know?

    Thanks

Have you considered upgrading OS to 10.5?

I might do it. But is there a huge difference between 4.5 and 4.61?

    Hi Maggie,
We could of course discuss all the HUGE differences between each incarnation of CO4, but what is a small increment for one is a huge step for mankind for another.

To cut a long story short, if you are not yet on an Intel Mac with OS X 10.5 (both required), and you do not have the latest DSLR, you could stick with 4.1.1.
When you are on the Intel Mac with OS X 10.5, you could best use CO 4.6 at this point in time, which is by far the most stable release, better than 4.6.1 or 4.5. And that is huge in my book.

General Mac tip: if you are on any PowerPC Mac with 10.4 (or older) and like to use it in the nearby future, update it to 10.5 now because the upcoming 10.6 will not run on PPC and its release will wipe 10.5 from the shelfs.

Why was I able to use 4.5 on Intel Mac and OSX 10.4.11?
I do have a very new camera

It can work but is not guaranteed and several users reported problems. But if it works for you, why bother? System requirements for 4.5 and 4.6.x are the same, so now I am lost with your initial question.

I am lost as well as I was able to run 4.5 and after installing 4.6 it won't launch, hence my question.

As I suggested in a previous post today ("To cut a long story short...") get 10.5 and your done.
