Import Bug in 8.02

I have an immediate bug in 8.02 running in Mavericks on a 2009 MacPro, When importing from a series of CF cards, the first one imports fine, but when putting the second card in the USB port, the import window opens automatically but no previews show up in the window. Just a blank window. The only way to get the images to be recognized by the import window, you have to Quit C1 and reopen, happens each time. Anyone else experiencing this?
