Three questions about LR import, catalog and smart albums

Hello,

I have three questions:

1. What's the appropriate strategy to import my Lightroom 4.4 catalog to C1 8? Or is it recommended to import only single folders into C1 and add color marks by hand (I guess C1 8 do not read the color marks from Lightroom correctly)?

2. Is it possible to reimport automatically the output files like LR does? It seems that I have to add a folder -> synchronize folder by hand... 😐

3. How can I collect all pictures in a smart album that have an empty description field?
