How do I get sharp thumbnails?
The thumbnails on my monitor seem fuzzy. I suspect that it has to do with resolution of the thumbs. How do I change settings to get sharp thumbnails?

Am I the only one who thinks that CO 5 thumbs are soft?

I have seen some familiar posts here, IIRC. It might have something to do with not proper connecting the output profile (which is used in conjunction with the monitor profile to generate the thumbnails). Not sure. But, the issue mentioned will probably fixed in an upcoming maintenance release. Check again when this update is available. 0 -
Thumbnails look nice and sharp here...
Edit: OT... I wonder where has my signature gone ❓0 -
Thanks for your reply, Paul. I went racing to the CO help file, but could find no explanation about an output profile file. Can you elaborate?
I of course calibrate my monitor.

It is not in the help file but it was discussed here in some threads.0 -
The not-well-documented preview pixel size in preferences might help you solve your issue. Maybe you have to delete your proxy images so they will automatically be regenerated next time you open the folder in C1. 0 -
Maybe he is talking about the thumbnails in the bar that you can place under or on the side of the working area. I think the thumbs there are sharp only up to a certain size, allthough you can make them a lot bigger. 0 -
Now I know why Handel wrote the Hallelujah chorus: to celebrate getting sharp thumbs in CO 5. I had tried adjusting the pixels, but I was thinking that more was better. Looks like less is better. Go figure.
Thanks,
