Make C1 ask for catalog on start

How to do that? I am unable to find anything in manual. This is how I usually was starting Lightroom, because I have a plethora of catalogs. Sorry if the question was already asked or appear trivial.

Also, when I import an LR catalog, but C1 is already open, the images are being merged in another user collection, but in the same catalog. How to initiate a new catalog for the imported LR catalog?

  I thought there was a choice in the preferences that lets you choose not to automatically reopen the last cataloguw. Maybe I am miss remembering.
  
  To import a LR catalog into a new C1 catalogue create a new blank C1 catalogue first.

  Hold down Alt while you start the program (and keep holding it down) until a dialog box appears allowing you to choose which catalog or session to start with.

  Ok, thanks. This works, however, I wish C1 would have had such option in its properties.
