Bug with brush performance based on brush size

    And when you use a 'normal' display, is it better then? I assume it might be related to the 4K display.

    It is specific to large displays, because preview size is large, and C1 recalculates it each time(at least it looks so).

    I have the same problem with the 9.x version. The screen size doesn't matter. Brush performance is horribly laggy with 'normal' monitor too. I've tried with two monitors. One of them is 4k and the second Full HD. The CPU utilization is about 10-15%; 12.32Gb of free memory that in my opinion has nothing to do with recalculations and with lack of system resources. In the 8.x version everything runs normally.

    So are you rendering the image to 2 different resolutions at the same time?

    And this worked ok for you in V8 even when using 4k?

    Just checking out of interest as I consider buying a higher resolution screen.
