nef files

hello,

i'm new on this forum and have a question about the following problem:

for importing and working with nef files, which come from a Nikon D70 and Nikon D300 i am using the following programs:
Adobe Bridge (CS3)
Adobe Lightroom 1.3

after a while i recognise that some Nef files - and also JPEG's get corrupted. the longer i am working in the same folders, the more of the files get affected.
first i was trying to check the computer for virusses, but no one were found.

later i got the same problem on another computer. could it be possible that the software creates the problem?
has anyone familiar experiences with this?
are there programs who can restore defect nef files?

  Are you using Capture One v.4 at all????
  
  We are having a corruption problem with NEF files (from the Nikon D3) when opening them in Co v.4
