Inconsistent keystroke Commands in 4.0
At the outset, let me say that there are a number of features that I enjoy in 4.0, but it is certainly NOT a user-friendly piece of software or intuitive. In fact, even though you may have had a previous version, this version is so very different, that you might as well have purchased a different brand of software entirely. If you don't read the manual (which contains multiple spelling errors), you will be lost. Having said that, I think that 4.0 desperately needs to be consistent.
Example: If I want to select multiple images, I have to hold down the Command key. If I want to apply settings to the same images that are already selected, or I have to hold down the Shift key while also clicking on the rotate symbol. However, if I want to delete the same objects that I have already selected, using the Shift key and clicking on the trash can will only delete one image. If you want to delete multiple images you need to hold down the Option key. Seems obvious that someone didn't think the workflow through very well.
Not only are keystrokes inconsistent and poorly thought out, but in the Mac version, where is the keystroke command to zoom in on an image now that Command/+ or Command/Shift/+ does not work? The only way that I have been able to zoom into an object is to manually zoom in. Apparently there is a way in Windows, although I cannot confirm this. 😭
If the "LE" version is so confusing what will the Pro version look like when it finally emerges?
