Will Sony RX100 III be supported?
I learn from the knowledge base that both Mark I and Mark II raw files are supported. It would be great if Mark III files are supported as well.

No doubt it will happen, but Phase One won't even hint at when support will be provided, as a matter of policy. 0 -

Adobe DNG Converter 8.5 is supposed to handle RX100III raw files. A normal work around is to use the DNG converter to create DNG RAW files and then open from there. However I converted a RX100III file with DNG 8.5 and I cannot open it with Capture One Pro 7 version 7.2.2. It won't even import the DNG into the catalog... On the other hand Adobe Camera RAW 7.4 has no trouble opening it. No idea what is going on, but C1P7 does not seem to be able to handle the DNG. It does open other DNGs that I have used. Odd!0 -

How often does PhaseOne typically release RAW file updates? Is it like Lightroom and you have to install a complete new version? Or like Photoshop, and you just download the ACR portion as an update?0 -

Hi,
I found that the DNG converter defaults to DNG Version 1.4 which is not supported. If you open the DNG converter (v8.5) then select "Change Preferences ..." then choose "Custom" from the "Compatibility" drop down list and select "Backward Version:" to be DNG 1.1 from the drop down list Capture One will open the resulting DNG files.
