Choosing the best platform (hw/os) for Capture One
Reading these forums it is my impression that there is a definite difference between the platforms on which to run Capture One.
It is quite unbearable to hear that users have to fiddle with usb cables, software settings, reboot computers etc. while clients are looking them over the shoulder, not to speak of the fact that such problems take away valuable time that could be spent better. If choosing a different platform might alleviate the problems it certainly makes sense to do so.
What I mean to say to my fellow users is: be really, really hardnosed when it comes to choosing your platform for your favorite software. Prioritizing platform over application software is putting the cart before the horse.
