No youre not the only one.

I too have noticed a slow down while tethering. Specifically when changing tools.

2011 MBP (non retina) OSX 10.10.5
    C1 Pro 8.3.3.23

    Shooting with Canon 5DS R

Does disabling unnecessary providers in Preferences help (as a workaround)?

    Hi Paul,

from re-installing after completely erasing all C1-content from all libraries to disabling the unnecessary providers - nothing helps. Heavy slow-down when tethering...as David states, especially when changing tools.

Same problem here. I noticed this behavior after "upgrading" to 10.10.5. C1 tech. support offered no help.

A few troubleshooting steps for You guys that are affected by this:

    - What specifically is slower?
    - Does it also happens if You are on a different tool-tab (like the metadata-tool tab) ?

Please create a Support Case (or submit to an an already existing case on this subject) and be sure to provide a complete set of log-files. See how here: https://www.phaseone.com/en/Search/Arti ... nguageID=1

Specifically changing from one tool to another.

If Im in the Capture Tab then select say, color or Exposure, it will take several seconds and a beachball to switch.
I cannot say if the experience is the same with the Metadata tab as I wasn't using it. I could experiment later this week if Im on a job.

I will follow up with log files and support case too, should I experience it again.

Does anybody know what the most stable version is at the moment? I have 8.2.2 on OSX 10.10.4 and when my camera falls a sleep some how it won't connect again when I turn it on and it seems to make me have to force quit capture and restart, turn off my camera, Canon 5DMIII ,and then it will recognize it. Also when do Contact Sheets I get crashes 80% of the time when I hit export?? Is there a thread in here on which version is the most stable at the moment?

Please update to 8.3.3 and try reproducing your problems. You do not have to overwrite your 8.2.2 installation.

YES!!! I thought I was crazy yesterday. I kept restarting thinking it was my machine. But when I was shooting tethered to a 5D3 going from the camera tab to exposure tab took in excess of 4-6 seconds. Going to any other tab also took much much longer. So glad it wasn't just me.

I was on 8.3.2. Will update to 8.3.3 and see if that helps.
