imgcoreprocess error with C1 version 4.8
Hello, I´m a new user of C1 and liked it very much. 😄
Now I have got this error and I don´t know what to do. ☹️
Can anybody help me?
Facts:
C1 versions 4.81, 4.82, 4.83 same behavior. New installation, doesn´t help.
Windows XP prof SP2.
Ereased the C1 Library completely, doesn´t help.
I assume C1 could be interferring with the Avira firewall I installed two weeks before.
I disabled this. No change.
Changed the monitor profile. Doesn´t help.
Whenever I try to crop any picture the error comes up again.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I tried version 4.1.2 and it works on my computer without that error.

Hi flieger44 , check your admin tools and Application Log. Odds are it is a .NET runtime error. Run a repair on .NET framework if it is. you can find the steps in the knowledge base.

Further on this....I get this error message sometimes when my security software updates, you need to let Imagecore.exe pass through your firewall, and depending on your security software, you might have more than one to adjust. The behavior is confusing because Imagecore times out before the access is granted. I simply restrt COne and all is well. You don't want to wait for the granted permission to allow acess, just grant and restart....
This might help if you had COne running before adding/modifying your security (you did'nt say that you did)...but if it was, try that before moving to Andrews suggestion. If it's never run and this is redundant for you...sorry.0 -

Good point: Firewalls (3rd party) on Windows and CO4, something to be aware of. I had a discussion with a CO4 user last february about it:

Bottomline: allow connection to localhost.0
