Feathering a local adjustment mask
Hi,
Have recently begun using CI Pro as main RAW editor on my MacPro, having finally given up on Aperture. One feature that I have not been able to emulate is the ability to feather the boundary of a local adjustment mask. For example, after brushing the hair in a portrait to enhance the Clarity independently of the facial area, there is hard transition between the two areas. Aperture has a "feather" brush for softening this transition.
Any suggestions for mimicking this on C1? I've tried both brushing and erasing with different opacities and brush hardness, to no avail. Thanks,

It will probably be the easiest if you post a screenshot of your mask.
Normally I would solve this problem by using a brush with 0 in hardness to mask my area, and then use an eraser (again with 0 in hardness) to erase some areas that was affected by the brush.0 -
Thanks, Christian.
I tried again with a zero-hardness eraser brush. But this time I made the diameter quite big, and that provides a reasonable amount of feathering control in this case.
Is this an appropriate place to ask for dedicated feathering brush feature? Best,
