Tethered speed C1 5

Hi, anybody can help me to understand if is normal to wait 4/5 sec to get the image and to wait 15/20 sec to get the picture just shot after 15 pictures in sequence?
I have a mac pro 17 unibody 2,8 GHz 500GB 7200 4GB ram
with a 4,5 mt. cable nikon D3X raw 14bit uncompressed

  Are you saying it's fast until you get to the 15th? No that's not sounding normal at all. (Kidding!)
  
  If trashing the plist files and restarting doesn't improve this you may need to start a support ticket.

  Thanks Dave,
  was slow with 4 and is the same with 5
  i disinstalled 4 before to install 5 so the old stuff seems gone
