If you're trying to see them in the Base Characteristics tool it likely won't work because the profiles you are getting are Output profiles, not Input profiles.

But to add them as an output profile viewable as a Proof Profile in C1 you can- open up Applications folder, control-click to show package contents. Go to Contents/Frameworks/AppCore/Resources/Profiles/Output and drop it there.

    Restart C1 after.

Alternatively you can try putting them in ~Library/ColorSync too and see if they show up.

Many thanks for your reply - unfortunately I wasn't able to find these folders.
Can you explain this a bit further to me, where they should be located ?

I believe that output profiles must be stored in the ColorSync/Profiles folder:

    • In the Finder, hold down the Option key and click the "Go" menu. This adds the "Library" item to the menu list.
    • Select "Libray". This open a Finder window for your Library folder.
    • Navigate to the "ColorSync" folder and then to "Profiles".
    • Copy the ICC profile in the "Profiles" folder.

The profile should now be available in the "ICC Profile" list of the "Basic" tab of of the Process Recipe (Output tool).
(you may need to restart toggle "Show recommended" option or restart C1.)

At least, that's how I got my profiles for my printer in there.

    HTH,
    Peter.
