Saving finished photos, settings, thumbnails etc

I have not used this software in a year so bear with me. I have no problem editing my raw photos (D3 and M8) but can't seem to get the software to 'save' all the changes, settings and finished products within the local directory where my RAW files are. I have tried to change the settings but not having much success. I think senility is setting in. Is there an 'easy' way to fix this? thank you.

  In the Process tab, the Process Recipe tool, advanced tab, you can set the output to the Image Folder. Then all processed files will end up in the image folder.
  
  You can't change the location of the settings files unless you use EIP packages (Digital Back files only) in which case they will be bundled in the same file as the raw file.

  Thanks for the quick response, but I cannot even seem to find the tabs you are referring to. I am currently running Capture One Pro 3.7.9
