Unable to use any image processing tools

Hi,

I bought a new PC with Vista and downloaded Capture One 4.x. I verified that the software has been registered correctly, however, nothing works. I tried deleting the software and did another download and install with the same problem. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

  The tools will only work on raw files, jpg files can be viewed only. I assume you are working with raw files from a supported camera? A little more information might be helpful.

  You were right on about my problem. I was playing with Adobe's Lightroom and saved a few JPEG images into a folder with RAW images and that's what I was loading into Capture One.
  
  One of those dumb thing you do. I bought a new PC with Vista and assumed that the problem was either with Vista or the 4.x version of Capture One.
