No I think it is safe to say that this will never going to happen.
Isn't it better to buy a better back from the start?
Note that with a Phase One back the software come with it for free.
There is competitive upgrade offers, contact your local Phase One dealer.

I do not understand why Phase One will not subbort the Imacon Ixpress 96C back with the .fff raw files...

    Hi There,

Ha!--cannot blame Ulf for putting on a bit of a sales Pitch here--after all you did throw a cat amongst the Pigeons --so to speak!

Iv'e owned the Imacon back and Flexcolor-lovely files --bit yellowish in the skintones according to the Prepresshouse but I cut my MF Digital teeth on the Imacon.

If you want the best RAW process for your Imacon files (short of the unavailable C1 of course!) try--

http://iridientdigital.com/ Dave Coffin's program is superior to Flexcolor in my opinion.

Yes Ulf I'm a P25 owner now so lower the barrel!.

    Good Shooting,

    Des W

This will be strait and honest answer:
The answer is quite simple, why would Phase One help a competitor sell more camera backs?

I just downloaded the latest trial software to find out how limiting the software is not supporting fff files and others.
I noticed the ongoing war amongst hardware/software manufacturers and the reluctance to recognise what a costumer is.
Thinking Sinar, Rollei, Leaf jenaoptics etc, all in a quarrel, all pretending to be of big help to photographers.
It would help if the "for sale" sign does underline the limitations. OK, no go for Leica S2 and Hassi back owners, why not say so in the blurb.

Keep in mind first that this the Capture One 3 forum and this is a very old software which has been discontinued.
Capture One 6 is the current software and you can use it with Leica S2 since the RAW files is not proprietary, Leica uses DNG which Capture One 6 support.

When it comes to FFF format we have simply decided not support this format just as Hasselblad do not support Phase One files in their Phocus software.
