Is there a white balance issue with the Nikon D2X?

I have been using two Nikon D1X's with C1 Pro 3.7. I have heard and read that there is a problem setting white balance with C1 Pro because Nikon will not release it's proprietary color information to Phase One. Does anyone have information on this?

  The problem exists only for in-camera Custom White Balance setting.

  In general, it would be better to shoot your D2x with one of the preset WB choices. Using Custom, the data does not get interpreted in Capture One; and choosing Auto is too variable of a value per shot.

  Thank you for your reply. When you say \"in-camera Custom White Balance setting\" do you mean when I would create a custom white balance by shooting a gray card saving it in the camera?
  
  Also have you heard will Phase One ever be able to get the proprietary color data from Nikon?

  Yes, exactly... In-camera WB = Custom WB, and some call it Click Balance.
  Some cameras allow you to create a couple Custom WB settings.
  
  I will never ever argue with a photographer who does an In-Camera WB. But to be honest, it is so very easy with great results to establish the WB in the Capture One software, I'd forget about setting it in-camera.
  Shoot a grey card or Macbeth chart under the lighting situation as my first image for a shoot > take my captures > establish WB from grey card using the White Balance tool > select all other images and hit apply WB to and I'm done.

  We have not heard if Nikon encryption is going to be compatible with future Capture One versions. Cooperation seems to be important to Nikon.
