Canon G9 compatibility

Just purchased a canon G9 and using capture one but for some reason I cant open the RAW files (CR2) from the camera. Does this mean the file type is not compatible with the software? If so what can i do Help!! Thanks

  According to the Phase One web site for CO4 ( ) the Canon G9 is not supported. Since previous G-series raw files were supported, there is hope for the near future.

  I'd like to see G9 support also.
