Downloading trial gets me a scary Windows warning
Last night, I tried to download a trial version of Capture One 5. Both times I tried it, at the end of installation process, I got a huge warning screen that said something like "Windows XP cannot certify this is safe. Continuing might damage the world as we know it [well, words to that effect]. We strongly recommend that you not continue with this installation."
Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone have any insights? (I have Windows XP with SP3. The download says it's compatible with that.)
Thank you!

I don't know why, but I got the same message the first time also. I told it to continue anyway. I've used v5 extensively since then and it works wll, but I do get regular crashes though I'm not sure if it is related to the warning message. I just restart and continue without data loss. Deleting seems to cause the most problems for me. 0 -
The warning screen simply means that Windows has not yet tested and verified this software, or more accurately we haven't paid them to do so. Don't let it bother you, there's no danger in proceeding. 0 -
Thank you! Much appreciated. 0 -
Pretty much every piece of software I download does this - it's nothing.
If you're worried, download and save the file then give it a once-over with your AV/anti-malware package of choice.0
