Still no Retina Display support in Media Pro?!

I'm not sure what you mean. I am using Media Pro with a Retina Display and not encountering any problems. What am I missing?

I apologize for not being clear. Media Pro still does not, in my experience, take advantage of Retina Display high resolution, the way iPhoto or Aperture do. In order to make type legible Apple sets the default resolution comparatively low. To get the best out of photographs, to show them at their sharpest, the resolution needs to be boosted. The MacBook Pro Retina is capable of 3360 x 2100, which Media Pro, as far as I know, still does not take advantage of. Using SwitchRes I get to 3360 x 2100, but I'd rather not need the work around. Please correct me where I'm wrong.

Thanks. That's probably true. In my case it doesn't matter. I use MediaPro as a DAM. In my experience, if the thumbnail doesn't grab you it probably isn't worth working on. If it is worth working on I open it in an editor that provides the kind of clarity you seek.

I too am looking for an answer to this question. It has been a while since the MB Pro Retina has been on the market. While I use the application as a demo on a computer which does not have a Retina display, I am expecting this application to take advantage of all of Apple's hardware if it is designed and sold for Macintosh computers. 😐
