Capture One 4.0.1 Service release now available: http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloads/CO4.aspx
Below you will find a list of issues which have been solved with this release of Capture One
4.0.1.
General:
- Fuji S5 images of ISO 1000 and above are presented darker than in-camera JPEG
- Processing DNG to JPEG or TIFF without a camera profile will cause ImgCoreProcess
error.
- Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EOS 40D Highlight Tone Priority option is not supported -
resulting in Underexposed image.
- Processing error in Nikon D200 image after arbitrary rotation.
- Leica M8: Generating 16 bits DNG appear very dark.
- Improvement of error codes generated if system errors are encountered.
Mac:
- Output tool: Application cannot process on a network drive on Mac OS X 10.4
- Crash when favorite folder is selected and the application is quit using shortcut or from
the menu.
Windows:
- Inability to use Crop or Rotate tools after having Auto-adjusted 5 images or more
- License Management: A Power User occasionally have to reactivate the license code
for an application that is already activated
- On Vista: Inability to start Capture One with limited user account privileges
- Pattern noise artifacts in Pentax K100D images
- Pattern noise issue in output when cropping images scaled > 150% on AMD AthlonTM
processor.
- Importer: Sometimes memory cards are not ejected correctly.
- Loss of details in highlight areas of processed Konica Minolta Alpha 7 D / Maxxum 7 D /
Dynax 7 D image - preview under 50% shows details that are not in the processed
image.
- Caption and Copyright information doesn’t appear in processed image.
There are a number of other fixes we are working on, but it was decided that there were enough issues resolved already that we did not wnat to hold up the release.
