Levels Adjustments

I've watched all the tutorials that are loaded discussing the new pro 5. I'm still having issues
with the levels adjustments in the shadow area. According to one of the videos if you are seeing shadow clipping you can increase the top left number in the levels from say 0 to 5 and which changes the levels output from 0 to 5. Or I guess a better way to put it is you are remapping all the 0 shadow areas to 5.

I've made this adjustment on a number of images and the blue levels are still showing 0 in the shadow areas. I'm processed these as 16bit tiffs and checked them in photoshop as well. In Photoshop they are showing 0 as well.

Can someone fill me in on what I'm doing wrong or will phaseone please give a better tutorial on saving shadows without using the shadow/highlight adjustment because that thing will screw an image up real quick.

  The adjustment behaves for me, I can't suggest anything short of the usual trashing of library files. There's a link to a script that may be helpful, uninstalling v4 or 5 at the click of a button or some such posted earlier.

  That for the suggestion. I actually used that script to remove 4 before installing 5.
  But may have to try that again.

  Issue has been fixed. Removed ver 5 with script that was loaded in prior link. Then manually removed settings from user/library as well as what script removed. Restarted machine, installed ver 5, re-activated and everything working properly now.
