Posting images to your website (wordpress?)
Hi there,
I have just joined this forum and am a recent convert, someone looking for a way out of the Aperture conundrum that does not involve LR/Adobe.
Basically I am in the midst of learning CR1 and also updating and making new websites.
I of course have a million Q about CR1, but for now I would be grateful if anyone thinks there is a best practise for exporting images out to a website (Wordpress theme), that would auto complete most of the requirements for SEO, so you don't have to do unnecessary work with the images once uploaded.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
First, what are the requirements for SEO in your WordPress site? Second, once defined, can they be transferred through the image, for example through metadata?
I run a WordPress site about Capture One (http://imagealchemist.net) and what is published on the site comes from CO8, obviously. For SEO, I have not managed a workflow in which CO8 supports major SEO requirements, like Alt Text. However, I do take into account the following when processing for my WP site:
- renaming image name on processing to a name related to the topic on the site
- removing unnecessary IPTC metadata; this can be set in the process recipe
- process to specific size to prevent resizing by WP0
