Settings in Export Folder??

Why are C1 settings saving in my export folder? They didn't do this in v5. How can I get this to stop?

    Are you browsing/editing your Exported Files in Capture One? If so, the settings are created by default.

    Nope, not browsing it at all. Just browsing the main raw folder. Once the files are exported to a separate JPG folder, I open that folder in Finder... and there are the C1 settings folder.

    I have this issue in my output mail folder to report (currently editing for another issue). Phase One is apparently not yet aware of it, but that will change very soon. 😁
    It is only on Mac (6.0.1), not on Windows.

    We've verified a bug in regard to what has been reported and a fix is in the works.

    Also noticing that the .col files are being duplicated whenever i use them. This is new to CP1-6 and I'm guessing is a result of a similar issue. This is obviously less than ideal as I am now getting up to 6 versions of this same file. Fix very much needed.

    Still no fix in 6.1.1? C'mon guys... please? This is rather annoying to have to go in and keep deleting the preferences folder in the export folder. Especially because I run batches in these folders and the software I use to run the crashes if I forget to delete the folder.

    It's mid-April... and I have to keep deleting this folder out of my JPG folder... because all my my software I use for batching crashes with this folder in there.

    Anyone??? Pleeeeeease.

    I thought it was just me, I have a temp folder for sending resized jpegs, never use c1 to browse this folder and yet settings folder keeps appearing in it.
    I Keep deleting it but it keeps appearing.

    OK. STILL NO FIX! What the hell?

    A bug was reported 2 separate versions ago. Why is this not fixed yet?

    I really like editing with this software... but it's nowhere near as reliable as Lightroom. Is there not a fix for this yet?

    Still have this problem FWIW. Ridiculous this hasn't been fixed yet. I am on a totally new machine too. STILL same problem exporting settings into the JPG export folder.
