Shooting tethered with D2X

I am shooting tethered with a D2X. For the raws to load into C1, I need to have Nikon Capture Control in the running in the foreground, wait for the image to load, then toggle to C1 to the foreground, which then loads it to the browser. Is there anyway to eliminate this step?

  I too do the same thing with PO and NCC - I dont think there is a better alternative at the moment, although speaking to a PO developer at this years Focus led me to belive that Nikon tethered support was not far away.
  
  Anyone with more infomation on tethered workflows feel free to let me know!

  Progress is being made with agreement between Nikon and Phase One, but not a Done Deal as yet.

  Does this mean that Phase One is negotiating with Nikon to have the ability to shoot tethered with a Nikon DSLR to Capture One Pro without Nikon capture running in between?
  
  Who do I have to bug/petition at Nikon to get the ball rolling faster?
