resizing and cropping

I have been a long time user but haven't done allot of testing outside of your basic raw conversions. I seem to have gotten good enough at managing the color in my images that I rarely have to adjust this once in photoshop.

I thought I would try resizing and cropping in C1 Pro as this was about all I was doing to a number of images once I got the converted ones to Photoshop. I'm obviously doing something wrong and I have done a search and couldn't find my answer.

I right clicked on the crop tool and made myself a new size that I wanted, for sake of argument lets say 4X6. I clicked on maintain aspect ratio and then I saved this. First of all is it right that you can only add one crop to the drop down of presets for this. I would like to have more but can't seem to get more there. I crop my image and any other adjustments I might want to make and hit insert to process the image. If I open the image in photoshop it is way larger than 4X6 and I have to resize there anyway.

Am I doing something wrong here?

  When yo are developing the image, then you set the desired size of the image.
  The aspect ratio is alredy fixed 4x6
  You can choose up to three different sizes every time you develop an image. You set one side and how many pixels/inch
  you need , ex. 300 dpi tiff or jpegs.
