NEFs rendering wrong (Windows)
I am changing my workflow to include Capture One Pro 6 and Media Pro 1.1 - after been using Lightroom for years.
After some testing I found that my NEFs looks better rendering through C1.
Anyways - my problem now is that Media Pro 1 do not render the NEF correctly ☹️
C1 Pro 6 is running like a charm and I have configured Media Pro to render using C1.
All the thumbnails are rendering ok but when I doublecklick a NEF file to open it big, the file is rendered almost completly black like this:
http://sandb3rg.net/tmp/mp1.png
I have also unchecked "use embeded thumbs" etc.
What could be wrong?
My system is Win7 64-bit, and as I said C1 is running without any problems what so ever.

And when I doubleclick the image the first time, It works for 15-20 seconds before that black pictures is rendered...
It seems like I am not the only one... ☹️

Edit:
I'll bet this is a 64-bit problem. Capture One is running in 64-bit mode, and was very suprised to see that Media Pro is 32-bit ONLY! ☹️(
Edit 2:
It works like a charm if I install the 64-bit codecs from this link, and change the render engine in Media Pro:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/de ... x?id=26829
Will I loose any integration/functionality with Capture One if I run this Codec instead?0 -
Just had the same problem.
What worked for me, was to reset the adjustments I made in Capture One (CTL+R).
As I deleted all adjustments with this step, I ask you to be carefull and think twice 😉 Maybe try it out on a testfile.
Now I simply swapped into Media Pro (no saving in Capture One, no sending to Media Pro).
In Media Pro it is important to simply open the media tab of the file (double click thumbnail). After the correct media has been displayed, you can go back to the thumbnail view and rebuild the thumbnail (CTL+B).
After this, I swapped over to CO and did my adjustments again.
Then, without doin anything else, after having done the adjustments I went back to Media Pro again. There I simply double clicked the thumbnail and the media was shown including the adjustments. In thumbnail view I hit CTL+B to rebuild the thumbnail.
Done
Best regards
