Creating Custom ICC Camera Profiles

Hi all,
I'm relatively new to C1P and am interested in learning more about the colour management within C1P.
I note that C1P has built in ICC Profiles for common cameras which are selected automatically.
Is it possible to disable these so that I can export a TIFF image without colour management for the purpose of creating my own custom profile? If so, how do I do this?
For those of you doing custom digital camera colour management with C1P, broadly speaking what is your workflow with C1P? I hope to be using my X-Rite Digital Colour SG card to create scene profiles for specific shoots.
