What exactly do you want to know?

Using 10.11.2 and C1P 8 as well as 9 with a Nikon D810. Tethering is working but I did not more than 25 shots each. Turning the 810 on and off is working fine and C1P reconnecting within less than 15 s.

Well... I installed it. it is still not reliable. Sometimes it works then it looses synch.... Teetering in EL captain is still broken.

I suggest you find a brand new cable first thing thing. The rapid connect/disconnect cycles happening with a bad mechanical connection can cause trouble.

Christian, I have 2 machines. One with 10.10 and one with 10.11.2 same cable. On the 10.10 works like a charm, on the 10.11.2 dosent. It is a teether tool cable. I have sent you videos proving this over and over.

It is not a rapid cycle, the camera looses synch. I am not the only one complaining and I find it hard to believe that you can not reproduce this in your office.

    Hi

Only a suggestion, but this works for me when I have tethering issues with a Canon 1DX.

After copying to a USB stick, I delete all the plist files in preferences referenced to PhaseOne.

After copying to a USB stick, I also delete the CaptureCore and ImageCore folders, the path to these is:

    Macintosh HD-Users-Shared-Capture One.

I then close the Mac down completely (not Restart,) reboot and then when I boot up Capture One it regenerates the deleted files and folders above. Tethering is then fine. This procedure has worked for me several times in the last 12 months (CO Pro V8) on a couple of different computers. I always use a powered USB hub between camera and computer.

One other thing, for some reason I always seem to have more issues when I have two different versions of Capture One in Applications. So I would recommend only having one version in the Applications folder at any one time.

    Hope this helps, Ian

    Alessandro,

I'm running CO9 on a Mid 2010 Mac Pro with OS X 10.11.2 and it works well. I have no issues tethering to a Nikon D300 & D300s.

The only bug I'm experiencing is when I make the first capture after an hour of inactivity—as set in the application's preferences—three Recent Capture collections are created with the same time stamp instead of one. It is a bit irksome as I have to dig in the library tool to view that first image.

I had this issue a while back, but it was corrected by changing the preference to the default. See:

Sadly, changing the inactivity time in the prefs does not fix the issue this time around.

Subscribing to this thread because I want to be confident that CO9 will run on Mac OS 10.11.x without problems.

I currently run CO8.3.4 on OS 10.10.5 and don't do tethering.

As a first step, are there any issues running CO8.3 on OS 10.11, please?

Version 8 still has it's own forum and there are various threads regarding El Capitan. With 8.3.4 it seems to work mostly but some people are also still experiencing problems. One open question is, if version 8 is going to see any additional updates to address remaining issues with 10.11. If not, then it might be better to wait for a more stable version of Capture One 9 before upgrading to El Capitan. That's what I am doing. I also have to check again, what other software will have problems or stop working on El Capitan.

I have sent you an email a few days ago for some additional details. Please check it when you get the chance.

I'm running CO9 on 10.11.2 and it seems to be fine. It has the same bugs as it did under 10.11.1, but no more. 😊
