How to share CP1 ratings & settings w/ multiple computers.
What's up P1 community. This is my first post. 😊
So I work with a team here in San Francisco and we are trying to find the easiest way/need to know if its possible to share ratings and settings in CP1 amongst multiple computers, while "staying in sync" so to speak.
For example:
Create new session.
We tether to a laptop onsite during the shoot. Than we make a duplicate of that session onto an external hard drive which than gets shared with 1 or maybe even 2 other laptops during the next few weeks while we are sorting, organizing, editing for the client. If the main computer is the one making all of the rating and color tagging, how can we easily share all of those tags with the other computers? Sometimes 3 people need access to the images on their computers before the ratings / color / editing has been done.
Is there an easy way to share those settings with another computer? maybe just copying over the actual .cosessiondb file?
We currently import all files as .EIP .
Thanks a ton!

You could try Dropbox / Google Drive. Should work copying the cosessiondb file.
I don't have first hand experience with sessions syncing but it's what came to my mind.
Best to contact PO support for this stuff.0 -

There are a number of possibilities. As you share the USB disk anyway, you can try the following, quite basic workflow. See if it works for you, speed-wise.
- Connect your USB drive.
- The 1st time, create a new session. Later just use the existing session.
- Navigate to the image folder on the USB drive using the 'Library' tool. No need to import.
- Do your rating, tagging, editing. Everything will be stored along with the images.
- Close your session
- Take the USB drive to another computer.

- Continue doing your rating, tagging, editing. Everything you already did on the 1st computer will be there.
- Close your session
- Take the USB drive to another computer.
... and so on.
Keep in mind that processed images will be in your local session's output folder.
