All images disapeared from catalogue

I pressed the esc key to exit fullscreen and all the images disappeared from their catalogue.
Is there any way to reconstruct this catalogue as I had done quite a bit of intricate/unrepeatable/exquisite work to quite a few images?

  You can run the Verify command from the File menu. Last resort is to ask Phase One support to the rescue: open a case.
